Loveland Basin is one of the best-kept secrets in Colorado! This locals’ favorite lacks the crowd of tourists and is even rumored to have shorter lift lines than other resorts. Don’t forget to download your favorite podcast – Loveland is about an hour and 20 minutes from the Peloton property when traveling by car.
Keystone (Night skiing)
Keystone has it all! From challenging blue and black diamond runs, to full-day CAT Ski tours and tubing, there’s something for everyone at this resort. Keystone is especially known for their “Ski Late ‘Til 8” lighted trails. A great way to get in a few extra runs accompanied by the beautiful night scenery. We recommend planning a full day trip to Keystone as it’s about an hour and 45 minutes to the slopes from Peloton.
This place is Legen-wait-for-it… -dary! Arapahoe Basin starts off the North American ski season and lasts longer than most. While others may be wiped out from all the powder, other skiers head to A-Basin. Some have even celebrated Fourth of July riding in just their shorts or bikinis! Combined with the high elevation and challenging hills, this resort is hard to beat for those looking to ski (almost) year round. Plan accordingly, A-Basin is about an hour and 30 minutes from the Peloton property.
We’ve saved the best for last! Vail Ski Resort, which is well-known for its stunning views and it’s 5,000 acre of skiable ground, is frequented by locals, tourists, and A-list celebrities alike.
