New Restaurants in the Neighborhood
Looking for a new date night spot to treat your loved one, or a late night snack stop to satisfy that midnight craving? Every year, Boulder’s cuisine scene continues to grow, keeping you (and your tastebuds) on your toes. To make sure you don’t miss out on any of the hot new restaurants on the block, we’ve put together a list of what’s new in the neighborhood, and their must try menu items.
Locust Cider and Bar
New to the Boulder neighborhood, Locust Cider and Bar first opened in Washington in 2015 and has now made its way to Colorado. Using all locally sourced Pacific Northwest ingredients, you can taste the light-bodied, yet bold flavors in every sip. Head to their taproom located on Conestoga Court to try some of their unique ciders. Our favorites are Dark Cherry and Honey Pear.
Head to their website to see the full menu.
A sister restaurant to Salt Bistro, Pepper Noshery is one of the newest restaurants on Pearl Street, known for its casual eats made with fresh and sustainable ingredients. The vibrant and comfortable space is perfect for intimate date nights, or larger work parties and events. Head to their website to check out their Date Night Tuesday and Wine Down Wednesday specials! We recommend giving their Cracked Pepper Beef Burger and Grilled Four Cheese Sandwich with Salt’s Famous Tomato Soup a try.

Craving some late night carbs? Don’t worry, we’ve all been there. Luckily, Boulder’s newest Italian restaurant, D. P. Dough is open from 4 am to 4 pm, and their dishes do not disappoint..?. From meat lovers to veggie stuffed calzones, D.P. Dough has over 25 calzone concoctions, hot wings, tater tots and cheese sticks for you to fall in love with. We recommend the Speed Zone calzone with a side of Cheesy Bacon Tots and Cinnamon Stix. Did someone say, “That’s Amore?”
Set to open in early October, Rosetta Hall will be Boulder’s first food hall. Created by the owners of the Boulder Theater and Boulder’s Rembrandt Yard Gallery and Event Center, this “European-style” food hall will feature 10 restaurants operated by independent chefs, as well as an upscale rooftop lounge with private cabanas.
Not only will the new food hall be a great place to unwind, grab a bite to eat, and socialize with friends after a long day of work, but it will also host different activities such as dance events, independent film showings, community gatherings, and live music on weekends.
Located just one block from the Pearl Street Mall, Rosetta Hall is dedicated to bringing the community together through food, drinks, and dance. Check out their website to stay up to date on the food hall launch and learn more about the different cuisines that will be available!
