Go Rock Climbing in Boulder Canyon

Whether you enjoy heading out regularly or are new to the sport, rock climbing at Boulder Canyon is an excellent way to explore the area. Located just outside of downtown Boulder, there are a variety of routes for all levels.

As we head into fall, the scenery will be particularly beautiful and the temperature will begin to cool down for some excellent climbing adventures. Mountain Project has an updated list of routes, as well as their ratings and some additional information.

Get Outside Your Comfort Zone with White Water Rafting

White water rafting has grown in popularity over the past decade, and it continues to be one of the best ways to explore both land and water. There are two-day trips, full day, or half day options from a number of outfitters.

Try a New Sport Like Disc Golf

Disc golf, also known as frisbee golf, has also grown in popularity, but is still one of our favorite ways to relax. Though there are multiple courses in the Boulder area, we’d recommend Interlocken East Park Disc Golf Course, located right off the US 36 bikeway.

This nine hole course offers both a near and a far tee, so it’s actually an 18 hole course if you choose to play both. As one of the easier courses in the area, it’s an ideal spot for your first few games.
