4 Great Holiday Events in Boulder
We all know that the Holiday season will look a little bit different this year, but this doesn’t mean the joy of the season is canceled!
There’s really no better place than Boulder to celebrate the holidays. There are so many outdoor and socially distanced events scheduled that can help you stay safe while enjoying the sights, smells, experiences, and tastes of the season!
Read on for some of our favorites.
This self-guided route through downtown Boulder and the Civic Area is the perfect opportunity to get your fix of holiday lights while being able to maintain distance from others. The route will bring you through Candy Cane Lane at Bandshell, beautiful storefront light displays on Pearl Street, and numerous photo ops with glowing reindeer and other woodland creatures.
Grab the whole family, mask up, and head Downtown to enjoy a chilly and festive winter night that’s sure to put you in the holiday spirit.
The Boulder Holiday Market is an annual shopping extravaganza that’s not to be missed! This two-day event is a great way to support local vendors and artisans while checking off the hardest-to-shop-for on your list. It’s conveniently located next to the farmer’s market— so you can grab something to snack on while you peruse all of the gifts and goodies.
CU Presents Holiday Festival 2020: All Season Long, $20 for 1-2 viewers, $40 for a household, $80 for a large group
Support CU’s music program during these difficult times and tune into their annual concert (which is digital and able to be streamed whenever you’re ready). Stream the concert, composed of holiday favorites old and new, and enjoy the merry sounds of the season.
Grab some hot cocoa, set up your Christmas tree, and watch the snowfall as you delight in the Festival.
Meet a Turkey Event: November 19, $20 per person
Ever wanted to get up close and personal with a Turkey? Here’s your chance. This meet-and-greet gives participants the opportunity to interact with two Spanish black turkeys. It also includes an educational component about the history of Thanksgiving Turkeys and ethical and local farming practices.
And, participants will receive some backyard eggs and other goodies to take home for their own Thanksgiving dinners!
Celebrate at Peloton, all season long
There’s no place like home for the holidays. If none of these Boulder events are tickling your festive fancy, consider arranging a creative holiday at-home celebration. We recommend a gingerbread house competition with the family or a date-night Christmas movie marathon!
Just because we can’t celebrate exactly how we usually do this year, doesn’t mean we can’t make new traditions and enjoy the season anyway.
Create new traditions this year at Peloton West. Whether you’re staying in or venturing out into Boulder this season, Peloton is the perfect place to make home base.
The sales team is available by virtual tours, or by appointment for in-person tours. Our NEW sales gallery location is at 3401 ARAPAHOE AVE #114, BOULDER, CO 80303.
