Now that the weather has officially cooled down (for now… but who knows, we are in Boulder after all), it’s time to start fully embracing all of the autumn vibes.
The best way to do so? You guessed it— cocktails! There’s nothing better than cozying up on the couch next to a warm fire and enjoying an autumn-themed drink.
From sweet caramel apple to warm pumpkin spice, the flavors of the season all have a chance to shine in these cocktails. Enjoy, and be sure to drink responsibly.

Pumpkin Spice White Russian
We love this adult take on a classic fall favorite, the PSL (pumpkin spice latte). This cocktail is so creamy and sweet. It’s the perfect way to get your pumpkin fix this season.
-2 ounces vodka
-2 ounces coffee liqueur (like Kahlua)
-4 ounces pumpkin spice coffee creamer
-Pumpkin spice, cinnamon, sugar, crushed graham crackers for rim and garnish
Mix the spices, sugar, and graham crackers on a plate and rim your glass with the mixture. Add the vodka, pumpkin spice creamer, and coffee liqueur into a cocktail shaker with ice in it. Shake vigorously. Pour into your glass and top with whipped cream and sprinkle with pumpkin pie spice.
Spiced Mulled Wine
This drink is a total win-win. It’s so delicious and cozy, and making it is guaranteed to make your home smell better than a candle ever could.
This spiced mulled wine is an autumn classic… Try it just once, and you’ll be making it every year.
-1 750ml bottle red wine (we love Malbec)
-1 orange sliced
-1 tablespoon whole cloves
-3 star anise pods
-3 cinnamon sticks
-¼ cup simple syrup
Add all of the ingredients (besides the simple syrup) to a pot and bring to a gentle simmer, not a boil. Simmer for 20 minutes. Pour into your favorite mug and sweeten to taste with a few spoonfuls of simple syrup, if you’d like. Enjoy!
